I like to keep my apps up to date. So I went to do that.
However there was a problem with that.
So I have to update that to make the notification go away.
Me right now:
(I do realize I could turn notifications off but I like to leave them on so I keep my apps up to date.)

But android keeps changing, and getting worse each time. I like it 5 years ago. Now if some one hands me an android phone I go “yeah I have no idea how to use this”

I was about to say that’s not terrible then I saw the unread emails.
*shudders*

Mine is exactly the same. I use gmail, which separates the junk mail and does not give me a notification. I eventually just turned off notification for the stupid apple mail. My app store is at 58 though. I should really update crap more often or delete unwanted apps.

My phone is such a disorganized clusterfuck. I think I have over 100 Safari tabs open. I gave up a long time ago. I’m actually amazed I was able to focus for 10 seconds to put all the Amazon apps in a folder.
My work inbox is actually under control. Well actually it has 17 unread right now, but I’ll get that to the 1 or 2 I need to reply to in the AM before I leave today.

Bunch of goddamn animals in here with their thousands of unread emails. Keep up with that shit or start over.

When Nova Launcher started supporting notifications like iOS, I tried it out, but quickly disabled it because I couldn’t take the badges cluttering up my home screen.

Yeah that’s a big part of my problem - one of the accounts in my mail app is gmail. In the browser, gmail separates out all that crap into those other tabs, so my main tab isn’t all that bad but they all go in one place on the phone.

My old work email was terrible. I did have it very heavily filtered so I saw all the important emails. So there were 0 unread emails in my direct inbox. My folders? Thousands.
